Pangea Organics is proud to announce our partnership with Women for Women International to provide women survivors of war, civil strife and other conflicts with the tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self- sufficiency, thereby promoting viable civil societies.

For 2010, Pangea Organics has pledged to donate 5% of profits to Women for Women International to help women move from victims to survivors to active citizens.

About Women for Women International

Women for Women International (WfWI) is a global non-profit organization that envisions a world where no one is abused, poor, illiterate or marginalized; where members of communities have full and equal participation in the processes that ensure their health, well-being and economic independence; and where everyone has the freedom to define the scope of their life, their future and strive to achieve their full potential.

WfWI serves the most socially excluded women in conflict and post-conflict, war-torn countries who have lost everything – family, home, and health. Women enroll in a 12-month education program, receiving direct financial aid and emotional support. Through this program women gain rights awareness education and job skills training so they can support themselves and their families

Countries of operation include Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo, Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria and Sudan.

Since 1993, WfWI has distributed almost $79 million in direct aid and microcredit loans, assisting more than 250,000 women, and benefiting another one million family and community members. WfWI is a proud recipient of the prestigious Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize and has received hight marks from Charity Navigator for five years running.

Try this one: It’s by Pangea Organics, and smells amazing! Plus – probably even more important – it’s a cream that protects, softens, and nourishes the delicate skin around the eyes.

As I have just entered my third decade, trust me: I’m all about keeping those fine lines and wrinkles at bay…cause sure as heck, they are creeping in!
Seriously, it’s packed with antioxidants, cell regenerators, and anti-inflammatories, and all that good stuff – but it’s also moisturizing and will keep you looking young. And, there ain’t nothing else that matters…especially under that mistletoe!

The next product that I would LOVE to introduce you to is made by Pangea Organics.

I was lucky enough to review their Balancing Oil. At first I was like, WHOA, wait, put oil on my acne prone face! YEAH RIGHT! But I tried the teeniest, tiniest amount after my shower and it soaked in right away and it smelled lovely. It is made with POMEGRANATE with is an antioxidant and is also collagen supporting. This makes my fine lines (ok. laugh lines) happy. It is also made with GERANIUM which is harmonizing and known for its cell repairing ability.

I have been using this oil for a little over a week now and I must say that my face is so soft and supple. My laugh lines aren't gone yet (that would be a miracle in such a short time) but my skin definitely looks better.

This week's gift guide pays homage to Penny Lane, Kate Hudson's lovable character in the film Almost Famous. A true free spirit, Penny Lane exuded warmth and joy. She epitomized a rock-influenced Bohemian vibe — surrounding herself with beautiful things (from fields of flowers to healing music), made spontaneous decisions (such as when she declared she would travel to Morocco for a year), loving fully and unconditionally (especially when it came to her favorite band, StillWater, for which she was a "Band Aide"), and hoping to live life to the fullest. She could charm anyone with her curly mane and dazzling smile, and she was always a show stopper with her fur-trimmed coats, cozy boots and knits, natural makeup, and beautiful jewelry.

Here, a few gifts that would make the Penny Lane-esque, Boho chic girl in your life want to sing "Tiny Dancer" at the top of her lungs.

Pangea Organics "The New Radiance" Gift Set, $100.

Leading organic skincare line Pangea Organics offers this five-piece set, filled with some of its best-selling items: the Japanese Matcha Tea With Acai & Goji Berry Facial Mask, which includes antioxidants with anti-aging benefits like acai and goji berry; the Egyptian Calendula and Blood Orange Facial Cleanser, which has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties; the exfoliating Egyptian Geranium With Adzuki Bean & Cranberry Facial Scrub; the soothing and hydrating Italian Red Mandarin With Rose Lip Balm; and the Turkish Rose & White Tea Eye Cream. The set is packaged in a box made of 100% post-consumer newsprint embedded with the seeds of a spruce tree, so you can actually plant it in soil and watch the trees grow.
